Meet Ian Clark, CMT, Specialist in Trauma Release Massage Therapy
Holistic Support
For Mind and Body
With 11 years of experience in the healing arts, Ian is a skilled massage therapist specializing in pain management, stress relief, relaxation, and injury rehabilitation. Drawing from a diverse set of therapeutic modalities, Ian tailors each session with a compassionate, heart-centered approach that supports clients' overall well-being.
Raised by a single mother who is herself a skilled massage therapist, Ian was immersed in the world of healing from a young age. Through her, he learned the profound impact the power of touch can have on both the body and the spirit, inspiring his own path of self-discovery and professional growth. Ian's journey into massage therapy was further shaped by his challenging childhood, which drove him to seek liberation in combat sports. Martial arts gave him an outlet to work through his emotions while teaching him discipline, self empowerment, respect, and the importance of community. This foundation evolved into a passion for human movement and a deep commitment to health, wellness, and vitality, guiding Ian to pursue massage therapy as a way to heal and empower others.
In recent years, Ian has developed a deep interest in somatic therapy. Studying trauma, emotional healing, and the mind-body connection have influenced his approach to massage, which integrates trauma-informed principles. Ian recognizes the vital role that emotional well-being plays in the healing process, and he brings this perspective into his practice to offer clients a more holistic, supportive experience.
Ian’s approach to massage addresses not only physical tension but also emotional stress. Whether in private practice, corporate settings, or at athletic events, he listens closely to the body’s needs and works in partnership with clients to support their healing and well-being. Currently, Ian collaborates with trauma therapists, using massage as a complementary tool in the healing process.
In addition to his work as a massage therapist, Ian is a coach, helping others on their wellness journeys, and an athlete, continually exploring the potential of the body to grow and adapt. Through this combination of expertise and personal experience, Ian creates a safe, supportive space for clients to experience healing, renewal, and a deeper connection to themselves.
